150 participants from 20 countries worldwide conducted simulations of European Parliament, Council of the EU and European Council, making this Model European Union the first of this kind in Eastern Europe.
Belgrade Model European Union (BEUM) is a project created by a group of students gathered under non-governmental organization of BEUM Student Association and strongly supported by Faculty of Economics, Finance and Administration (FEFA), National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Government of the Republic of Serbia, BETA e.V and other partners. Belgrade Model EU or BEUM is an international student simulation of the European Union Institutions. BEUM was organized for the frist time in Belgrade, Serbia, from 10th until 13th November 2011 and it was the first Model European Union in Eastern Europe.
